Dr Guan attended Brown University and graduated magna cum laude with Honors in Neuroscience. He attended Chicago Medical School and completed his internship and residency at LAC+USC Medical Center. He then went onto fellowship at Loma Linda University.

Dr Guan’s clinical interests include esophageal disorder, GERD, IBD, interventional endoscopy, as well as functional GI disorders.

Outside work, Dr Guan enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He loves being involved with the local community. He is fluent in Chinese Mandarin and constantly trying to improve his medical Spanish.
